PyroGuard 275, a fixed fire shutter, is manufactured from 75mm curved galvanized steel laths and powered by a single or three-phase motor, depending on the size of the shutter, complete with an emergency manual override mechanism.
Manufactured to customer specification, up to 7 meters wide, the fire shutter is activated through integrated fire activation, wired to a fire alarm circuit, by means of local heat detection.
Offering high levels of security while in the closed position, yet the comfort of added fire protection in the outbreak of a fire, the PyroGuard 275 is suitable for offices, industrial and commercial premises, retail properties and public buildings and ideal for any commercial fire containment area, J Durrance says.
The PyroGuard 275 fire shutter, from J Durrance, will assist companies in complying with the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order that comes into effect in October, notes the company.
