April 13, 2007—JG Architectural Supply brings rare and beautiful wood flooring to the market from environmentally responsible sources, ideal for green building and LEED certified projects, says the company.
JG explains that there are two types of hardwood flooring that are considered “ideal” for use in a green building project: FSC Certified and Reclaimed. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international organization that was formed as a certification body for responsible wood products. Reclaimed flooring is milled from that which is recovered from historical buildings and is ideal for Green Building because of its recycled application.
JG Architectural Supply is a new company that, it explains, is bringing beauty to green building with FSC certified exotic wood flooring from South America. The company also offers a wide range of reclaimed wood flooring products from around the world.
