Johns Manville Microlite furniture insulation earns GREENGUARD certification

March 25, 2005—The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute recently announced that two of Johns Manville’s furniture construction insulations—Microlite and Microlite XG—have been awarded the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification. The insulations were tested to the GREENGUARD standards for low-emitting products and were evaluated through a rigorous series of emissions tests. All were proven to have minimal impact on the indoor environment and will continue to be monitored on a quarterly basis to ensure their low-emitting status, the company says.
