March 8, 2006—Johnson Controls, Inc. has announced the expansion of its existing global facilities management contract with Agilent Technologies to incorporate a full-service real estate management solution for Agilent’s worldwide real estate portfolio.
This deal follows the Johnson Controls acquisition of USI, a leading corporate real estate alliance services firm in the United States, and builds on a global relationship with Agilent, which covers 12 million square feet of owned properties in 30 countries in the Americas, Asia and Europe.

Under the expanded contract, Johnson Controls will begin providing real estate advisory services, real estate portfolio strategy, and design, construction and innovative technology solutions to improve the value of Agilent’s real estate while accommodating its needs for productive and cost effective work environments.
