May 24, 2002—Johnson Controls has combined its Integrated Facility Management (IFM) business unit with the Controls Group, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis. This strategic integration is designed to enhance the global facility solutions Johnson Controls provides its customers.
The previous IFM unit is now Facility Management Solutions, a strategic service offering for Johnson Controls. Among the services it offers are operations and maintenance of both administrative space as well as critical environments, enterprise-wide energy and power management, strategic facility consulting, procurement management, and project management of providers of facility support services.
