Johnsonite adds Bamboo and Chopped Bamboo to its rubber flooring line

June 8, 2005—Johnsonite, the flooring solutions provider that helps create high performance environments, has introduced Bamboo and Chopped Bamboo as two of five new textures to its rubber flooring line, the company says.

These new organic surfaces were developed with insight from more than 200 architects and designers, Johnsonite says. Bamboo highlights the natural side of forest canopies with subtle lines. Chopped Bamboo is bundled to dramatically expand as it is unrolled with subtle non-directional shoots, the company says. Used individually or in tandem, these energetic textures add a natural stimulation to any interior space, says Johnsonite.

Bamboo and Chopped Bamboo are standard in more than 60 solid rubber colors. They can be special ordered in Johnsonites exclusive customization program for more unique design options, including Prima Marbleized, Prima Olio or Speckled patterns. They are available in 24 x 24; 1/8 thick rubber tile.

Johnsonite is the leader in flooring solutions that integrate design, function and life-safety. For more information, visit the company Web site.
