October 28, 2002—Johnsonites Floor Keeper rubber entrance matting system now incorporates nine new carpet insert colors, and Power Tape adhesive tape system includes a 1-1/2-inch adhesive tape roll for installing stair nosings, wheeled traffic transitions, and other specialty accessories.
Johnsonite’s patented nylon-fiber carpet inserts, part of its Floor Keep Entrance Matting System, and now available in nine new colors: Steel, ‘turf, Laval, Cobalt, Forest, Chestnut, Apple, Space, and Sparks. The matting inserts are solution-dyed to hold color. Consisting of both mono- and multi-filament twisted together, Floor Keeper matting inserts work in tandem with the system’s rubber ribbing to effectively scrape, absorb, and conceal dirt and moisture. It’s backed by a two-year warranty.
Johnsonite’s Power Tape, part of the firm’s Adhesive System, is now available in 1-1/2-inch rolls for installing stair nosings and wheeled traffic transitions. There’s also a 9.5-inch Power Tape roll for installing stair treads, risers, and stringers. Power Tape adhered treads in less than half the time of traditional systems, says Johnsonite. The high-tack tape grabs instantly, eliminating the need for traditional bucket-and-towel adhesives. The extra-thick construction requires on a single layer; no double-taping.
