JT Packard to provide uninterruptible power to Consorta member facilities

June 24, 2005—Consorta, a leading group purchasing and resource management organization in the health care industry, has awarded an agreement for uninterruptible power supply services to JT Packard.

Through the agreement, which is effective June 1, Consorta member facilities will have access to special pricing on maintenance and service for all generators and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. Consortas membership includes more than 520 acute-care hospitals and more than 300 extended care facilities in the US.

Uninterruptible power supplies are mission critical devices that are often overlooked in terms of preventative maintenance. JT Packards expertise in this area will insure our members systems are maintained and operate properly during those critical times, said Dan Ingram, manager of imaging contracting for Consorta.
