February 24, 2006—JT Packard has signed Brooklyn College to a substantial long-term agreement for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) services. The agreement encompasses service delivery for ten locations within the college campus. Under the agreement, Brooklyn College will receive on-site spare parts kits, full-service 24/7 emergency coverage, and preventative maintenance for their mission critical power equipment, explains JT Packard.
JT Packard says it is uniquely positioned to service customers like Brooklyn College because it provides not only expert service delivery on all brands of mission-critical power equipment, it also maintains a significant inventory of all types and brands of equipment and parts.
Brooklyn College is a member unit of the City University of New York (CUNY), the nation’s leading public urban university. CUNY is composed of eleven senior colleges, six community colleges, a graduate school, a law school, and a medical school. More than 200,000 students are enrolled in the academic programs offered at campuses located throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
Focusing on the sale of small and mid-sized UPS systems, JT Packard launched its service division in 2000 as a response to customers’ difficulties in managing multiple vendor agreements.
