How to bring more affordable housing to U.S. communities was topic of the American Institute of Architects’ Affordable Housing Task Force (part of the Housing Professional Interest Area) held early in June. Leading housing organizations were assembled to discuss major issues, such as existing policies and delivery systems and how to jointly improve the affordable housing production process. An AIA-prepared workbook, “A Workbook for Change,” which was distributed to attendees prior to the Summit, served to solicit comment and input from invited participants
