By adding several height options to the Power Tower, KI has increased the capabilities of its award-winning Flexible WorkspaceTM system. The new columns, which range from worksurface level to full panel heights, are designed to better accommodate those facilities with raised floors and further increase the number of possible office configurations. A 38-inch column may be surrounded by mobile team tables to integrate power and data in collaborative work areas. The 71-inch column is suitable for call center areas or areas with high rates of reconfiguration. Other heights available include 49 inches, 59 inches, and the original 71 inches.
Architecturally, the combination of several Power Tower column heights is designed to create an interesting yet consistent look. Functionally, the columns provide power/data in the most necessary places. Each Power Tower column offers the same power/data capabilities as the original ceiling-fed column. A modular zone electrical box supports plug-and-play connections and provides zoned electrical coverage, making the floor-fed Power Tower column easily moved and reconnected without an electrician.
