July 21, 2004—KI recently announced it has established a manufacturing alliance with Lifetime Products, Inc. of Clearfield, Utah, a leader in the folding table market. Lifetime will manufacture six different tables branded with the KI ValueLite name for the K-12, college/university, government and healthcare markets. The long-term partnership goal is to use KI design and development resources with Lifetime’s expertise to develop a new class of polyethylene blow molded tables.
The producers of 2.8 million tables a year, Lifetime has the largest blow molding facility of its kind in North America.
ValueLite tables bring a variety of solutions to KI’s core markets. With applications ranging from large public spaces for dining or conventions, gymnasiums, and special event venues ValueLite tables provide a strong performing surface that is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and also cost effective.
All six products, which include commercial grade five-, six- and eight-foot folding utility tables and 60-inch round tables, as well as six-foot and eight-foot institutional grade tables are 100-percent American made, including components.
