KI introduces EinsteinTM classroom furniture

New for the 21st century school environment, KI has introduced EinsteinTM furniture, which the company claims is the first innovative classroom furniture to be introduced for the pre-school through adult school market in decades. Designed to be light enough for a child to move and stack, yet tough enough to withstand rigorous use, Einstein furniture is ergonomically designed to increase academic performance by increasing student comfort, support, and functionality. The ability to stack, gang, and cluster the product gives teachers flexibility in reconfiguring their classrooms so students can work in groups-and reduces maintenance costs.

A comprehensive classroom seating and desk line, Einstein chairs comfortably support both upright listening postures and forward task-intensive postures with proper lumbar support and correctly sculpted ABS hard plastic backs and seats. The desktops are extra large and come with functional options, including pullout bookboxes that can serve as keyboard drawers with built-in wrist rests and field-installable, non-handed mouse pads. Chairs and desks are manufactured in four sizes to meet the ergonomic needs of pre-school to adult students.

KI’s Einstein classroom furniture won a Best of NeoCon silver award in the Tables: Occasional division.
