KI’s Genius full-height movable wall system wins Gold Medal in Best of NeoCon

June 14, 2002—Superior acoustic properties, advanced esthetics, and a high level of functionality earmark Genius, KI’s Full-Height Movable Wall. KI avers that it is one of the few products on the market that has removable faces/skins for finish changes or field electrical/data retrofits. It offers environmental friendly, powder-coated or anodized finish options. Genius topped the Architectural Products & Finishes category with a Gold Medal in The Best of NeoCon competition at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago.

The Wall system uses flush or recessed connectors limiting the sound transfer to provide a superior sound seal combined with a 3.5″ wall thickness to offset problems with sound transmission. Its construction earned the highest STC rating in the movable wall market, explains KI. Standard solid panels attain a level of 44 STC. Its optional flush mounted double-glazing feature not only contributes to the reduction of sound transmission, but also achieves a sophisticated visual effect at an affordable price.

The Genius Full Height Movable Wall features removable panel shells allowing users to fully access the panel cavity for power/data/voice cabling without disassembling the wall; change finishes without disassembling the wall; and run cabling horizontally and vertically within a full or segmented glass panel unit for power and data connections. KI explains that its technology ensures that any possible electronic or magnetic interference will be eliminated. For more information, contact KI.
