January 24, 2003—Furniture designer and manufacturer Knoll, Inc. has acquired the global rights as exclusive licensee to manufacture and distribute the “Landscape” and “Plateau” product lines, previously distributed by Staverton Ltd. UK.
The Landscape system, comprised of tables, screens, storage and accessories, offers unique styling with robust, yet graceful engineering. The tabling system, Plateau, offers options for screens, storage, shelving, IT support, cable management and accessories, and can serve both as a stand-alone product line and as integral components of the Landscape system. Landscape and Plateau include table and desking applications, and will be an addition to Knoll’s workplace range.
In 2002, Knoll, Inc. introduced the Life chair and A3 office system to the North American and European marketplace. Landscape and Plateau will be available initially through Knoll Europe showrooms and dealerships.
