January 28, 2008—KSW, Inc. has announced that it was awarded a $20 million contract to furnish the HVAC system for a new 53-story hotel/apartment building on Sixth Avenue in midtown Manhattan. KSW has previously completed a luxury condominium tower for this same owner/builder, M.D. Carlisle Construction Corp.
KSW will subcontract the sheetmetal portion of the project, valued at approximately $7 million, to Heritage Mechanical Services, an Emcor Company. Heritage is currently working for KSW on three other prominent hotel projects.
KSW, Inc., through its wholly-owned subsidiary, KSW Mechanical Services, Inc., furnishes and installs heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and process piping systems for institutional, industrial, commercial, high-rise residential and public works projects.
