Landscape Forms and Landscape Architecture Foundation jointly offer student scholarship

February 19, 2007—Landscape Forms is partnering with the Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) to create the Landscape Forms Design and People Scholarship in the amount of $3,000.

The scholarship is intended to emphasize the power of design to enrich outdoor spaces. The scholarship is open to landscape architecture students in their senior year of undergraduate study in a Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board accredited program. The scholarship is intended to emphasize the power of design to enrich outdoor spaces.

Applicants to the award must demonstrate a proven contribution to the design and development of public spaces, which integrate good design and promote the interaction of people. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic/creative accomplishment, as demonstrated by school transcripts, academic or internship project work and two letters of recommendation.

The LAF, founded in 1966, was created to support the preservation, improvement, and enhancement of the environment.
