June 15, 2005—Customers of Landscape Forms now have the opportunity to request custom products built to their own specifications through the firm’s creation of Studio 431. The new studio is Landscape Forms’ premier resource for the manufacture of custom site elements designed by architects and landscape architects for major projects, the company says. Studio 431 is designed for projects involving multiple units and minimum product orders of $100,000.
The new studio works with the customer’s design firm, which supplies the designs and specifications. The Studio 431 Customs Team of engineers and CAD specialists enter into direct dialogue with the firm’s designers. The team makes site visits, as necessary, to assess specific conditions, identify special requirements, and develop appropriate solutions. Then, the team’s advanced CAD capability will accurately model the customer’s design prior to manufacturing. The team will also produce the CAD drawings and 3-D model data as extensions of the design requirements. The team manages the custom project, establishing a budget, schedules, approval drawings, and manufacturing techniques, as well as communications and project flow.
Studio 431’s custom capabilities encompass a full range of outdoor furniture and amenities, from transit stations, railings, and kiosks to benches, bollards, and accessories.
