November 28, 2001—Facilities managers can enhance the overall status, appearance, and value of food courts, courtyards, and cafs with the newly redesigned Emporia litter receptacle from Landscape Forms. Designed for indoor or outdoor use, Emporia receptacles are stylish, yet ideal for effective tray management, according to the company. The 40-gallon tray-top style features a shaped lip to guide refuse into the liner and a hinged door for litter removal. The non-porous material will not support the growth of bacteria, and the top is designed to allow water to drain, providing a sanitary environment for food service facilities. The oval shape provides large capacity with a smaller footprint than square units. A top-opening 20-gallon unit is also available.
Emporia is formed of Quarite Plus, a tough acrylic material with outstanding weather and chemical resistance. According to Landscape Forms, Quarite Plus does not fade or chip, and can retain its “like new” appeal with minimal maintenance. Sporting a granite look, its pebbled texture minimizes water spots, fingerprints, and other marks. Emporia is available in two standard colors and several optional colors.
