December 15, 2003—Lanier Worldwide’s new LD122 and LD127 Digital Multifunction Products (MFPs) deliver up to 22 or 27 pages per minute at 600 dpi. They offer complete multifunction capabilities, including digital copying, network printing, scanning, and optional faxing, plus new technologies for network scanning, Internet faxing, and e-mail integration.
Network administrators accomplish virtually all critical tasks remotely, which is a significant time-saver since the systems are designed for shared use in large workgroups. Both the LD122 and LD127 offer industry-standard connectivity for plug-and-play network integration. They also feature standard utilities for remote administration that allow authorized users to monitor device status, check network settings, manage job queues, and access the built-in document server through a familiar Web browser interface.
Users can take advantage of scan-to-folder for document distribution in LAN or WAN environments, as well as scan-to-e-mail, which enables users to send scanned files in either standard PDF or TIFF format, then to deliver them as e-mail attachments to one of up to 2,000 addresses stored locally on the system’s hard disk drive.
