Large Retailers Seeking Ergonomic Carpet Standards

Large commercial retailers such as Wal-mart, Walgreens, and Target are asking the carpet industry for solid scientific research in support of claims made about walk-off and anti-fatigue mats being used in their stores. Retailers hope this research will bring about standards for defining ergonomic floor coverings conducive to employee health, thereby enabling FMs to decide which products meet the standards necessary for their facilities.
