August 29, 2003—Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nev., has implemented softWrench and MAXIMO—produced by Supply and Service—as its facility operations technology. The work order management software allows Mandalay’s staff to request work via their Web browsers. Requests are approved and then dispatched to the technicians via softWrench. Once the work order is completed, the dispatcher updates the completion time and any issues related to the request. softWrench is integrated with MAXIMO, the leading computer maintenance management software, so no information is lost or duplicated. This minimizes double entry of information, reducing reporting errors. MAXIMO tracks and manages preventative maintenance and detail asset information for Mandalay Bay.
