The solution also includes significant new business intelligence capabilities designed to deliver detailed intelligence at a dramatically lower cost than traditional intelligence projects. In addition, customers can take advantage of enhanced integration capabilities between Oracle and third-party software that will facilitate gradual adoption of Oracle applications and automation across heterogeneous environments.
For the healthcare industry, Oracle E-Business Suite 11i.10 offers the Oracle Healthcare Transaction Base, a service framework that helps healthcare organizations integrate, develop, and operate healthcare applications across the healthcare continuum. Specific features available in Suite 11i.10 help healthcare organizations manage staffing shortages in an environment of expanding regulation, enable higher quality of care delivery, and reduce overall operational costs. Oracle iRecruitment automates the hiring process, and Oracle Supply Chain Management includes enhanced par cart management capabilities, which are essential in ensuring that commonly required medical supplies are available at the point of care.
Oracle E-Business Suite 11i.10 also features new functionality designed to help public sector organizations minimize exposure to contractual risks, improve contract management, maximize buying power, and eliminate erroneous payments. Oracle Procurement Contracts provide contract management capabilities for government procurement professionals, including a sophisticated contract terms library, robust deliverables tracking, and formal change management. It streamlines the process for government organizations to source, procure, and manage services, such as contingent labor, facilities management, marketing, information technology, and consulting.
In addition, Oracle E-Business Suite 11i.10 features new functionality that spans multiple manufacturing sectors and helps organizations increase operational efficiency and streamline compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. The new RFID capabilities within Oracle Warehouse Management help companies reduce warehouse and distribution costs through improved inventory control and extended supply chain visibility. A Channel/Partner Management Dashboard is designed to drive faster and more accurate communication with partners and help ensure consistent application of policies across organizations.
Further, Oracle E-Business Suite 11i.10 includes new features designed to help communications service providers improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize customer value.
