February 4, 2005—LEDtronics has introduced the Series SLL003 ultra slim shoebox LED cluster light module.
This lighting product delivers the longevity, reliability and energy-efficiency of LED lighting technology in a low-profile fixture that is 1.5 inches high and weighs 14 lbs.
Featuring 400 incandescent white 5mm LEDs mounted on a PCB, it consumes only 20 watts, emits 656 candela of light, gives off 700 lumens and has a color temperature of 3000K – 3500K. Optional LED colors are red, green, orange, yellow, cool white and blue.
This LED light is compatible with voltage from 85-265VAC, which allows seamless integration into existing wiring systems. Also, available to qualified customers is a 12-volt DC version that is ideal accompaniment for alternate energy sources like solar- or wind-generated power. The housing is stainless steel and features an electrocoat-painted, powder-coat finish to protect against corrosion.
The transparent lens is high-impact strength polycarbonate that is UV-resistant so it won’t yellow with age. A neoprene gasket seals prevents moisture and dust from entering and affecting the module’s electronics. The fixture mounts on industry-standard light posts. Optional mounting hardware enables it to be flush-mounted to ceilings and walls. The 50,000-hour lifespan of the white diodes that makes LEDs good solutions for lighting along pedestrian walkways, in parking lots and for maintenance-intensive and ornamental lighting applications.
