Lee Technologies wins $3 million DoD contract for Texas data center

August 28, 2009—Lee Technologies, a leading provider of mission-critical infrastructure solutions that enable commercial enterprises and government agencies to avoid disaster and mitigate risk to their technology facilities, has been selected by the Department of Defense (DoD) to design and implement a containerized power and cooling infrastructure solution for the DoD Texas facility. The project is valued at more than $3 million.

The containerized power and cooling infrastructure was designed and implemented for DoD so that it could be seamlessly added to and in some cases replace existing infrastructure without disrupting uptime at the Texas facility. The data center design solution not only takes into account the day one design of a facility, but also ensures scalability, resiliency and ongoing optimal maintenance and operations.

Design and deployment of the containerized power and cooling solution initiated in June 2009 and it is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
