August 1, 2007 — Legacy Commercial Flooring of Toledo LLC has purchased the Flooring Business Unit of OCP Contractors. The business will operate as a unit of Legacy Commercial Flooring LTD, based in Columbus, Ohio.
Legacy, one of the largest commercial flooring contractors in the United States, traces its roots back 100 years to Wilson Floors. Both companies are members in good standing with the StarNet Commercial Flooring Cooperative, notes Legacy.
The new venture will operate out of the current OCP headquarters in Holland, Ohio and will be aligned with OCP to provide complete interior construction. All of the current flooring personnel have accepted positions and will join Legacy Toledo after a transition period to complete current backlog projects.
