October 1, 2001—Leica Geosystems has unveiled a new e-commerce Web site for a new generation of DISTO handheld laser meter products, including the newly introduced entry-level DISTO laser measurement tool for $495. Designed to easily download product information and select the DISTO model for specific applications, the site includes complete product specifications, technical documentation, online warranty processing operator instructions, interactive product selection guides, and an online “e-store” for purchasing DISTO products. All current models and accessories are available for purchase on the Web site with next-day shipment.
DISTO handheld laser range finders provide easy measurements of distance, area and volume, indoors or out, day or night, with an accuracy of 3mm (1/8 in.) or better, at ranges up to 100 meters (330 ft.). For more information contact DISTO.
