June 17, 2005—INVISTA, maker of Antron nylon, has added a Lifetime Stain Resistance Warranty to the current warranty for Antron Lumena solution dyed nylon carpet styles, says the company.
While Antron Lumena solution-dyed nylon has always offered outstanding resistance to stains and is one of its key benefits, according to INVISTA, the Antron nylon maker it felt it was important to add a stain resistance warranty to this offering.
Additionally, the product is backed by a 10-year fiber loss from abrasive wear warranty, a 10-year colorfastness to light warranty, a 5-year colorfastness to atmospheric contaminants, and a lifetime antistatic warranty. Used in a variety of commercial environments, it is generally found in textured patterned loop pile carpet in a broad range of colors.
Antron was the first carpet fiber to be certified, and now recertified, as an Environmentally Preferable Product, says the company.
