March 11, 2002—The LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL conference, to be held June 3-5 in San Francisco, will provide International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certification Maintenance points. Each three-hour workshop will equal 3 Certification Maintenance points and each 1.5 hour seminar will equal 1.5 Certification Maintenance points.
In addition to IFMA accreditation, the LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL 2002 education program is also authorized for continuing education credit in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the following associations: The American Institute of Architects (AIA), which will also grant Health Safety and Welfare (HSW) credit; and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North American (IESNA) will grant CEU credits. In addition, the program is registered with the National Council or Qualifications for the lighting Professions (NCQLP) for LEU credit.
