August 10, 2007 — Initially introduced as color option for bedliners, LINE-X XTRA is now making the crossover from the truck bedliner industry into light industrial, fleet and commercial applications, says LINE-X Corp. Applying the most durable bedliner material, combined with DuPont Kevlar embedded composite urethane coating, it is now available in most OEM colors.
LINE-X XTRA can be applied in any color, from a vehicle’s factory-original paint code to contrasting shades for a personalized look. Also, adds the company, it is the first to join forces with DuPont, incorporating its Kevlar material for maximum adhesion to the base material and provides a weather tight seal to protect against extreme heat, cold, moisture, abrasion, and rust. According to DuPont test results, LINE-X XTRA enhances the high level of long-lasting protection provided by the company’s traditional spray-on bedliners.
