March 23, 2007—Mannai Corporation recently signed an agreement with Australian based maintenance and industrial services company Transfield Services, whereby all assets, manpower, and ongoing contracts of Mannai’s building services and maintenance company Manwell Technical Services have been transferred into a new joint venture company, Transfield Mannai Facilities Management Services (TMFMS).
The joint venture, according to the announcement, will provide both Mannai Corporation and Transfield Services with a vehicle to pursue the growing trend in Qatar for companies to outsource their facilities and asset management needs. The joint venture combines the extensive market presence of Mannai Corporation and the technical, facilities, and asset management experience of Transfield Services to provide a fully integrated strategic facilities and asset management services.
