Mannington introduces two styles of multi-use carpeting

May 30, 2003—Mannington Commercial has introduced two new styles of multi-use products of DuPont branded nylon that join spacious design with complex color placement and texture in 12′ widths and 18″ x 18″ modular tiles.

The first style, Group Dynamics, is constructed of DuPont Antron Lumena. It is designed to resist fading from sunlight or harsh cleaning agents. Color placement and texture create a tweed appearance that is both functional and flexible. Mannington says that random use of broadloom and modular tile work together throughout any facility, giving design and performance flexibility.

Group Dynamics, a 1/12-gauge textured pattern loop, is available in 12′ width with Integra HP Advanced Composite Backing. It is engineered with a moisture barrier and chemically weldable seams that allow seam integrity and stain containment on the surface, where simple maintenance can remove the typical threats of odor, wick-back stains, bacteria growth, and liquid spills. Group Dynamics is also offered in 18″ x 18″ modules with Infinity Modular Backing.

Lateral Thinking, the accompanying 1/12 gauge textured loop product, is available in 12′ only and has a light, sophisticated design. The refreshing color palette of this DuPont Antron Legacy fiber is suitable for accents with other interior finishes, according to Mannington.

Both Group Dynamics and Lateral Thinking post Limited Lifetime Backing Warranties, have 25% recycled content with sustainable performance, and are CRI Green Label Certified for indoor air quality. For design flexibility and the ability to offer a complete package, these products coordinate with other Mannington Commercial carpet, VCT, and sheet flooring products.
