May 6, 2005—Marsh Inc. has donated $10,000 to the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Foundation, supporting future safety and health professionals through the annual Marsh Risk Consulting Scholarship.
The ASSE Foundation also announced this year’s scholarship recipient Lauren Robbins of Breckinridge, KY , who is an Occupational Safety and Health undergraduate at Murray State University in Murray, KY.
Each year, the ASSE Foundation awards a $5,000 scholarship through this fund. Applicants must be an ASSE student member, have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 out of 4.0, are currently enrolled in 12 or more semester hours, and have completed at least 60 semester hours.
Students can submit their applications for scholarships to the ASSE Foundation from September through December each year. For more information visit the ASSE Web site.
