McGraw-Hill Construction offering 3D models of building products in Google Warehouse

March 9, 2007—McGraw-Hill Construction, part of The McGraw-Hill Companies has announced the availability of three-dimensional models of building products for architects and engineers in the Google 3D Warehouse. This initiative will deliver professional 3D content in a way that is fast and easy to use, says the company.

By making 3D models available in an organized Sweets3D Collection, architects will be able to integrate specific building products early in the conceptual design process, thus making it easier to convey their full vision for the project to their clients, says McGraw-Hill.

Searching for products in the Sweets3D collection will be consistent with industry standards based on Sweets CSI indexing, keyword, and company names.

The Sweets3D Collection in the Google 3D Warehouse is launching with 3D models from Assa Abloy Door Security Solutions, CENTRIA Architectural Systems, DuPont Building Innovations, Nystrom, PPG Industries, Sloan Valve Company, ThyssenKrupp Elevator, and Whirlpool Corporation. To view the collection, see the Web site.
