November 5, 2003—Architectural Record, McGraw-Hill Construction’s monthly publication was a winner at the recent FOLIO:Show 2003 Celebration of Excellence Dinner in New York City at which the Eddie and Ozzie Awards for outstanding editorial excellence and magazine design were handed out. Architectural Record received a Platinum Ozzie for the Best Cover among all category entries. In addition, individual issues won a Gold Ozzie for best cover in the B-to-B over 100,000 circulation category, a Silver Ozzie for B-to-B best use of color photography and a Silver Ozzie for best overall design for B-to-B over 35,000 circulation.
For the past 112 years, Architectural Record has provided an editorial mix of design ideas and trends, building science, business and professional strategies, exploration of key issues, news, products and computer-aided practice. It is the magazine of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), and in recent years also won the Gold Award and three 2002 Jesse N. Neal Awards. Most recently, Architectural Record won the 2003 National Magazine Award by the American Society of Magazine Editors.
