April 4, 2005—MDI Security Systems has been awarded the 2005 Integrated Physical Security Product of the year by Network Defense & Product News (NDPN) and Government Security News. NDPN, together with a distinguished panel of industry judges selected both the iTRUST and SAFEnet systems based on technology features, capabilities, functionality, scalability and true integration of access control, alarm, video and system management, says the company.
MDIs iTRUST and SAFEnet solutions were selected from a field of more than 25 products in the Integrated Physical Security category by demonstrating their ability to truly integrate all identified security components while receiving high marks in the end-user functionality category, according to MDI.
Network Defense & Product News is solely owned by GSN, Government Security News Magazine, and focuses on bridging the gap between IT security and operations management, in addition to the integration of IT and physical security. The full product write-up will appear in Aprils Network Defense & Product News printed publication.
