June 27, 2007—Johnsonite has introduced Melodia homogeneous tile, a balance of aesthetics, performance and economics suitable for a multitude of segments and applications, according to the company.
Melodia’s homogeneous construction means colors and patterns run all the way through, helping maintain good looks for the life of the floor, which can be 20 years or more.
It’s also slip-resistant, resilient, easy to maintain and has more than 40 color options.
Johnsonite says careful research went into the development of Melodia, particularly within the healthcare and education segments. A subtle non-directional design makes it ideal for use in hospitals, schools, office or retail applications, according to the company.
A tough Polyurethane (PUR)-reinforced wear layer makes Melodia more durable, resistant to chemicals and easier to keep clean.
