Meridian Systems updates Prolog construction project management software

December 22, 2010—Meridian Systems has announced the release of Prolog version 8 software, with several enhancements for the Prolog construction project management software suite.

The Prolog suite allows project-based organizations to tailor a solution that best supports their work cultures, project management processes, and users. More than 5,000 organizations have used the Prolog suite to reduce project-related risk, manage project budgets, and simplify workload, with cost effective software that can be easily deployed in multiple IT environments, says the company.

Prolog Manager and Prolog Converge have been updated in the Prolog 8 software suite. Prolog 8 offers users an improved experience with familiar productivity tools and user-friendly features such as drag and drop and version control that further support successful project delivery.

Users may now take advantage of enhanced file linking capabilities and utilize a Quick Upload feature to easily upload and link documents to any and all Prolog records. Drag and drop file linking capability is also now available for easy uploading of files into the Prolog document management system and linking to Prolog records. Finally, Enhanced Notifications covering many of the standard processes users have requested are now part of the starter pack in Prolog Converge, facilitating collaboration between project team members.
