Meridian updates Web-based platform for managing real estate, construction projects

July 28, 2004—Meridian Project Systems has announced the availability of Proliance 2.0, the next version of its Web-based solution for optimizing project lifecycles and meeting corporate governance requirements for real estate, construction, and other physical infrastructure initiatives.

Proliance combines complete Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) functionality, Business Process Management, and a Business Intelligence layer in one comprehensive solution. Proliance is designed for large business enterprises that rely on physical infrastructure to deliver their core business, whether that infrastructure is manufacturing facilities, retail outlets, office buildings, or transportation systems.

Version 2.0 improvements include new program management features, a collaborative scheduling application, and field management capabilities.

Leveraging Microsoft Office 2003, XML and Web services, Proliance provides end users familiar Microsoft Word and Excel interfaces into project information, while delivering the corporation a controlled and secure, yet flexible method of integrating an enterprise PPM solution over the Internet with local desktops. This integration between Proliance and Office 2003 can reduce the thousands of files stored locally on desktops and never aggregated, analyzed, or archived for corporate reference.

For a complete overview of Proliance, join Meridian President and Cofounder John Bodrozic and the Meridian product management team for a free one-hour webinar August 11. For registration information visit MPS or call 800/850-2660.
