Hewlett-Packard is now offering select MGE Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) to its 9000 Enterprise server customers. HP’s 9000 Enterprise Server family meets Internet computing demands with the flexibility, scalability, and performance needed for business critical computing infrastructures. The new HP Power Trust II-MR UPSs provided by MGE have been specifically designed and tested to meet HP’s stringent quality, safety, and supportability standards, ensuring optimized compatibility and complete interoperability with HP enterprise solutions.
The new PowerTrust II-MR line provides power protection for HP’s enterprise solutions (HP 9000, HP Workstations, HP Netservers, and HP 3000 systems), and other peripherals with online double-conversion technology.
These new UPS systems support HP customers by incorporating: high performance and reliability; high availability with planned redundancy options and hot-swap battery functions; battery extension modules to increase battery backup time to 8 hours. In addition, the new rack-mount Power Trust II-MR provides increased flexibility, power capacity, and manageability for HP-UX as well as Windows NT/2000, HP 3000, NP Netservers, and HP Workstations.
