April 18, 2005—Milestone Systems A/S, a global developer of IP video surveillance software, recently announced the establishment of Milestone Systems, Inc., in the US. Eric Fullerton, VP Americas for Milestone since last year, is managing the company from its office in Oregon.
According to Milestone, demand for IP video surveillance solutions is growing fast, with projections for annual growth in this part of the security industry ranging anywhere from 12 to 30 percent over the next 3 to 5 years. In the US particularly, the establishment of Homeland Security has heightened awareness and support for shoring up security nationwide.
