November 12, 2003—Milliken Carpet has won this year’s International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Associate Member Award of Excellence in the regional representative or company category. Milliken Carpet Southwest Regional Manager and IFMA Foundation Trustee Rick Snyder accepted the award at a dinner culminating IFMA’s World Workplace conference in Dallas, Texas.
The company was named IFMA’s first Global Corporate Sustaining Member, and approximately 70 associates are involved in local North American chapters, with increasing involvement in both Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Milliken has sponsored numerous educational programs and scholarships while providing experts in strategic planning and hosting many IFMA events at various Milliken facilities. With contributions to the IFMA Foundation and ongoing high-level sponsorships, Milliken has demonstrated its commitment to the support and advancement of the facility management profession.
