Mobile-Shop organizer brings tools and parts to the job site

October 24, 2007—The Mobile-Shop is an all-encompassing tool and parts organizer that allows maintenance workers to easily wheel everything they need—or might need—to the job site. It eliminates work stoppages due to lack of on-site tools or parts and alleviates concerns about missing tools, according to Mobile-Shop Company, LLC, a company formed to produce, market, sell and service the product.

Developed by a property management professional and commercially available since May of 2006, the Mobile-Shop consists of a specially engineered cart that moves on wheels and contains more than 230 high quality tools and 180 critical small parts. Each tool or part is kept in a numbered and labeled pocket or bin. The device smoothly handles stairs, and it can be taken apart and placed in the back of a golf cart in less than 30 seconds, says the company.

Mobile-Shop has patented labeled, pocketed panels, which allow every tool to be carried in full view. This means the user can quickly and easily see that all the tools are back in place, and solves problems with lost and missing tools. The Mobile-Shop comes equipped with an on-board cover and an alarm system to protect against weather and theft.

The Mobile-Shop system has won several “Best New Product” awards, including the 2006 American Business Awards and the 2006 Good Design Awards.
