Modine to provide cooling system for new London soccer stadium

December 21, 2005—Modine Manufacturing Company, a world leader in designing and developing heating and cooling solutions, has announced that its newly acquired air conditioning product line, Airedale will provide cooling for the United Kingdom soccer team Arsenal’s new stadium in north London.

Modine will supply Airedale cooling equipment for critical Information Technology (IT) applications within the new Emirates Stadium, which is scheduled to be completed next summer.

Twenty EasiCool upflow units will provide precise cooling in main data and communications rooms, primary and back-up server rooms, mobile operations rooms, and substations. Essential switch rooms will be cooled by four Ecotel Indoor units—self-contained systems with free-cooling capability. Twenty-two Concept Plus units will be installed in smaller rooms such as the satellite, press and Director Club communication rooms.

Benefiting from small footprints, the EasiCool, Ecotel and Concept Plus are intelligent units capable of quietly maintaining precise control of temperature and humidity in environments where space is at a premium, says Modine.
