Momentum’s portfolio grows into acoustics, benching, and Michael Ford’s Hip Hop textiles and wallcoverings

June 1, 2026 — Entering seven products in the Best of NeoCon 2026, Momentum Textiles & Wallcoverings displays its broader brand reach beyond upholstery textiles and wallcoverings, into acoustic solutions, architectural products, and a benching/display system.

Acoustic Solutions: Lanes

Competing in the Best of NeoCon’s Acoustic Solutions category, Lanes, a battened-style acoustic wall system and interior solution from Momentum + Autex Acoustics, is a carbon-neutral acoustic solution designed to combine premium acoustics with elegant, 3D aesthetics. The system is made from Autex’s Cube material that is both durable and versatile. Lanes solves the critical challenge of managing noise in high-traffic, open-plan spaces. While most thin-profile acoustic treatments are limited to mid-and-high frequency absorption, Lanes’ functional air gap enhances low-frequency performance (NRC 0.80–0.85), making it a superior solution for commercial work environments, theaters and studios.

The Lanes range is available in three distinct styles — Peak, Plane and Sawtooth — each creating a unique three-dimensional (3D) visual display through beautifully folded joins. Unlike traditional interior acoustic solutions that are adhered flat against a wall, Lanes’ installation creates a functional air gap behind each section. This innovative 3D facade provides enhanced sound absorption, effectively reducing reverberated noise and echo in building interiors. When combined with Autex’s broad range of colors or stone or wood surface finishes, Lanes becomes a versatile and elegant acoustic solution suitable for commercial offices, education, hospitality and retail settings.

Architectural Products: Mirage panels with SpinFix

Entered into Architectural Products, another contribution to acoustic efficiency, Momentum and Autex’s Mirage panels with the SpinFix mounting system represent a sustainable advancement in the acoustics category. While traditional acoustic treatments often rely on permanent adhesives that render panels unrecyclable at end-of-life, this solution enables a fully reclaimable, closed-loop solution that does not sacrifice appearance for functionality.

The Mirage collection consists of intricately textured acoustic panels that blend artistry with performance to create immersive, tactile environments. The panels are defined by micro patterns, created using advanced laser-etching techniques that produce first-of-their-kind embossed and debossed patterns with remarkable clarity and tactility on Autex’s signature Cube panel material. Six biophilic designs that echo nature’s textures — Lapis, Brutalist, Offset, Rammed Earth, Mortar and Bouclé — the panels bring beauty, movement and depth to wall surfaces in workplace and hospitality interiors. Additionally, SpinFix creates a calibrated 6mm air gap behind the panel, which increases the product’s acoustic absorption to further maximize its efficiency.

Benching: Muro

Muro, a modular display system created by B+N, brings together integrated lighting, flexible configuration, and a refined, modern aesthetic, meets the evolving demands of the modern workplace.

Designed to evolve with each space, its minimal, vertical columns support interchangeable illuminated shelves, cabinet accessories, and oversized Silicone Edge Graphics (SEG), allowing the system to shift from repeatable wall layouts to dramatic floor-to-ceiling installations and freestanding fixtures with ease. Entered into Benching, it is engineered to expand, contract and reconfigure with ease. The system allows companies to adjust office layouts without replacing existing infrastructure.

Additional Best of NeoCon entries

Momentum’s additional Best of NeoCon entries are:

Frontier Acoustic Fins is a modular ceiling system that transforms overhead surfaces into rhythmic, visual landscapes, by Autex Acoustics, distributed by Momentum. Frontier innovates with installation technology through its aluminum suspension and clip system. The fins click into place with a 90-degree turn, eliminating the need for adhesives. It can be assembled on the floor, adjusted after suspension, and customized for height, spacing, and placement, empowering designers to leverage Frontier, no matter a space’s unique requirements.

Michael Ford x Momentum Textile Collection, consisting of five woven upholstery fabrics, draws on foundational hip hop techniques — movement and typography — to inject visual dynamism and energy into workspaces. Developed in partnership with architect, educator, founder of the nonprofit Hip Hop By Design, and the 2026 AIA Whitney M. Young Jr. Award recipient, Michael Ford, FAIA, the collection channels the hip hop genre’s fluid framework into a refined design language for the modern workplace.

Michael Ford x Momentum Wallcovering Collection includes two biobased, carbon-neutral Circon Type II vinyl wallcoverings — Breakin’ and Flow Chart — each sold as four-panel murals that draw on the music genre’s foundational techniques of sampling, rhythm and movement.  Designed for today’s evolving workplace, the wallcoverings balance expressive visual storytelling with contract-grade durability and performance. Offered in both subtle neutrals and vibrant colorways, the collection brings cultural depth, creativity and human connection into commercial spaces while supporting environments centered on collaboration, belonging and innovation.

Wellness Suite, a collection of high-performance healthcare textiles, transform clinical settings into restorative environments. The collection consists of new patterns from Momentum’s Bio Silica Hybrid and Crypton product lines. Bio Hybrid Silica, made from 24% silica and 76% bio-based polyurethane, delivers advanced cleanability through a lower-carbon, coated construction. Crypton is a similarly hard-wearing textile that brings a hospitality-inspired sensibility to healthcare interiors.

All of the Momentum brands’ Best of NeoCon entries will be showcased in NeoCon showroom 323 during NeoCon 2026, June 8-10. Visit the Best of NeoCon Gallery to see all exhibiting companies’ entries.
