March 18, 2005—Montel Inc. received a Gold in the 2005 Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) for SmartShelf, a flexible hybrid 4-Post shelving system, the company announced.
The ADEX Awards Program, sponsored by Design Journal, recognized the system for its ability to optimize space capacity that can be configured and reconfigured at any time to accommodate changing storage needs and space availability. The shelving system can be configured as a full-depth or back-to-back system, or a combination of both.
