Montel supports the A&D community with AIA/CES Educational program

January 16, 2006—Montel has been approved to become a Registered Provider organization with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems (CES). The primary goal of CES is to provide the best available professional development opportunities to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and related industry professionals.

For architects, engineers, and other related design professionals, Montel developed and registered with AIA/CES the following educational program: Storage Solutions for Modern Workspace Environments.

Space shortage has become an increasingly important considerations within today’s workspace environments. Developed by Montel’s professional team of specialists, the one-hour program allows participants to gain a better understanding of storage issues related to commercial and institutional facilities. More specifically the program will:

  • Examine the different factors that limit storage space within today’s workspace environments.
  • Understand the concept and benefits of high-density storage solutions for businesses and institutions.
  • Address how high-density mobile storage systems can assist projects in earning points towards the various LEED rating system certification levels.
  • Compare the costs and capabilities of different storage solutions.
  • Discuss design consideration for building plans
  • Illustrate a variety of mobile storage applications.
