Montel wins $1.5 million mobile library shelving project

October 17, 2005—Montel, a pioneer of high-density mobile storage shelving system solutions, has been awarded a $1.5 million contract by the University of Toronto at Mississauga for its mobile library shelving project at the new Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre.

Scheduled to open in 2006, the new $34 million library facility will merge electronic resources, software suites, and specialized programs with space for expanded collections.

Montel’s contract includes the supply and installation of powered mobile storage cantilever library shelving units in a public access, the company says.
