November 26, 2004—More than a third (35 percent) of workers surveyed by Kimberly-Clark report the telephone is the most germ-contaminated spot in the office. The survey, featured in the November 9th issue of USA Today’s Snapshots, ranks doorknobs not far behind, with 29 percent of responses; restrooms at 17 percent, and keyboards at 10 percent.
