MPS receives three ConstrucTECH Enabler Awards for its project management software

November 6, 2002—Meridian Project Systems (MPS) was recently honored with three Enabler Awards during the third annual ConstrucTECH VISION Awards ceremony held in conjunction with the 2002 Computers for Construction trade show in Dallas, Texas. This is the third year in a row that MPS has received Enabler Awards, which recognized MPS’ project management solutions and the enabling capabilities provided to three of its clients.

The three MPS customers awarded with Gold Vision Awards are: Turner Construction Co., New York, New York, for innovation in the Commercial/Industrial category with yearly revenue of more than $500 million; Soltek Pacific General Contractors, San Diego, California, in the Commercial/Industrial category with profits of $251 million to $500 million; and Multi-Family Builder Clark Realty Builders, Bethesda, Maryland.

Over the past year, Soltek Pacific General Contractors, with the help of its technology and MPS Channel Partner Rotech Consulting, has used Prolog Manager to speed project completion and improve communication between their project teams. “Before using Prolog Manager, each job required three administrators and a week of project set-up time. With Prolog we use one administrator for all our sites, share project data company-wide, and empower our site superintendents for independent site set-up. We’ve seen a measurable increase in efficiency while decreasing budget overrun,” says Brandon Richie, Project Manager for Soltek Pacific General Contractors.
